“Henry Nowhere makes music for the heart’s soft spots, and the state of California’s
scenic ones, songs that feel like old photographs tucked in the corner of a mirror,
faded by the sun and the passage of time.” – Buzzbands.LA

Henry Nowhere is gearing up to release his debut two-song, digital 7”. The sunny and hazy introductory tracks, “Don’t Care Where” and “Come Back From LA,” are to be released on FridaySeptember 1. Being an on-call Bay Area guitarist since high school, the launch of this new solo project coincides with his recent move to Los Angeles with Day Wave, a project he’s been touring with globally for the past three years. Recorded in solitary in his Oakland apartment, the sparkling debut gives us a taste of what's to come.

Henry Nowhere’s sound is of the easygoing, sun-bleached spirit of his native California, and his singular brand of lo-fi bedroom pop is hopeful and passionately intimate, reminiscent of likeminded acts such as The Radio Dept., Chris Cohen, Wild Nothing and The Drums. Live instruments and warm vocals mesh ‘60s nostalgia with garage-rock grit on this exciting first foot forward for Henry and his endeavor.

Stream “Don’t Care Where” via SpotifySoundCloud or Buzzbands.LA and stay tuned for more announcements on debut live performances and the release of much more music.
